Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for serious counterparties.

Practical answers about Symbiosis PetroTrade, petroleum inquiries, documentation, payment, logistics, compliance, fees, timelines and fraud prevention.

01 / Company

Company & Role

Symbiosis PetroTrade LLC is a Florida-registered independent commodity trade facilitator. We support qualified introductions, counterparty review, document coordination and transaction follow-through.

No. We do not represent ourselves as a refinery, producer, titleholder, storage operator, bank or carrier. Our role is facilitation unless a separate written agreement establishes different authority.

No. Completion depends on availability, price, documentation, compliance, banking, logistics and performance by the principals.

End buyers, authorized representatives, sellers and verified commercial intermediaries may submit inquiries. The role and authority of the submitting party must be disclosed.

02 / Products

Products & Pricing

Commercial focus may include crude oil, EN590 diesel, Jet A-1, gasoline, fuel oil, LPG, LNG and related petroleum products, subject to availability, specification and compliance.

Physical prices depend on benchmarks, specification, origin, destination, volume, delivery basis, freight, credit, loading window and availability. A screen price is not a firm offer.

A buyer may state a target, but extreme discounts require scrutiny. Unrealistic pricing is often associated with non-performing offers, hidden fees or fraud.

No. Feasibility depends on sanctions, export controls, banking, vessel access, terminal capability, specification and available supply.

03 / Documents

Documents & Verification

Common requirements include a completed inquiry, corporate KYC, incorporation evidence, signatory identification and an LOI or ICPO stating product, specification, quantity, destination, delivery basis and payment capability.

A seller or representative may need corporate documents, authority, product details, procedure and supporting evidence appropriate to the stage.

No. These are offer formats. Credibility depends on the issuer, authority, coherent terms and ability to perform.

Not as conclusive evidence. Financial capability should be verified through appropriate bank-to-bank or documentary procedures.

04 / Procedure

Procedure & Payment

Material changes require agreement by the principals. We cannot independently alter another party’s process.

Acceptance depends on the parties, banks and contract. Instruments may include documentary letters of credit, standby instruments, guarantees, collections or other agreed methods.

Incoterms allocate selected delivery obligations, costs and risk. They do not decide payment, title, product quality, sanctions compliance or dispute resolution.

Timing varies. It normally follows sufficient agreement on parties, product, quantity, price basis, delivery, inspection, payment and compliance.

05 / Logistics

Shipping, Storage & Inspection

It depends on the delivery term and contract. Vessel vetting, sanctions screening and terminal suitability still apply.

Demurrage is compensation that may become payable when loading or discharge exceeds contractually allowed laytime.

An independent inspector is common, but the contract determines the approved company, inspection point, methods and finality.

That is high risk. Receiving capacity, terminal acceptance, customs and discharge arrangements should be confirmed before shipment or nomination.

06 / Compliance

KYC, AML & Sanctions

KYC helps identify legal entities, beneficial owners and authorized persons. It supports sanctions screening, fraud prevention and AML controls.

Transactions may be screened for parties, ownership, jurisdictions, vessels, banks and other risk factors.

We do not knowingly facilitate prohibited transactions. Legal review may be required where concerns arise.

Ownership can affect sanctions, AML, reputational and authority risk even when the trading name itself is not listed.

07 / Commercial

Fees, Commissions & Timelines

No fee should be assumed merely because someone uses our name. Any fee, commission or expense must have a clear purpose and written agreement.

Where appropriate, commissions may be documented through an IMFPA, commission agreement or another written instrument.

There is no universal timeline. Duration depends on diligence, negotiation, banking, product readiness, vessel availability, permits and performance.

No. Incomplete, unverifiable, unrealistic or compliance-sensitive inquiries may be declined or held pending more information.

08 / Security

Fraud Prevention & Communication

Use contact information on the official website and independently confirm unusual payment, bank-detail or document requests.

Impossible discounts, unverifiable refineries, registration fees, copied documents, mismatched details, refusal to disclose authority and unrelated third-party payments are examples.

No. Share information proportionately and only after verifying who is requesting it and why.

State product, full specification, quantity, destination, delivery basis, schedule, inspection requirement, payment capability, company role and available documents.
